At us, we work continuously to reduce our impact on the environment.

We work in all areas to reduce our impact on the environment.
For example, we update our car washes with biological treatment, install almost 200 charging stations and recycle worn tyres.
We has an agreement with Vattenfall and only buys green electricity that is fossil-free and produced from hydropower, solar and wind power.
An important part of our environmental work is to reduce its own energy consumption. Continued focus is on heating, gates, LEDs and hot water consumption.
In the paint workshop, we have introduced a new clear coat that cures at a lower temperature, which means that we have reduced the need for oil-heated paint boxes.
The journey towards electrification is fast and this includes securing the charging infrastructure.
Every year, approximately 15 million car washes take place directly on the street or in the garage driveway. This means that oil, toxic heavy metals and asphalt residues flow straight into our watercourses, lakes and seas.
In connection with new car wash plants, we have upgraded with biochemical treatment at our plants in Tuve and Lundby. This means that we pass the limit value for Swedish water with 50% of the permitted limit values.
Most of our car washes also use approved chemicals that are "Svanen-märkta".
Quality and environmental work is an ongoing process to achieve the company's environmental goals in 2021.

We collaborates with Stena Recycling to find sustainable waste solutions with a higher recycling rate. Iron, aluminum, plastic, paper and everything that we sorts is picked up by Stena Recycling, which recycles this material for reuse. This saves both resources and energy. Our recycling corresponds to CO2 emissions of 763 tons. Stena Metall collects source-sorted material from Volvo Bil at 17 different units (sorting stations).
In collaboration with Ragn-Sells, about 10,000 of our used car tires are recycled every year. The tires are reused, among other things, for retreading and explosive mats, and are cut down and used as a base in riding stables, artificial turf and become new roads.
