The service must be performed in accordance with the service manual, if service is not carried out on time, the car's service history will be damaged and you as the driver risk being charged a fee. When the service light is on you need to book a time for service. When planning a longer trip, it is your responsibility as the driver to ensure that the car has been serviced according to the prescribed service intervals. You may need to book a service appointment before the notification appears in the car. A longer trip with the car may justify receiving approval to perform service earlier than the regular interval — consult with your technician.
If you’ve received a suggested service appointment but need to service the car earlier or later than planned, please adjust the proposed time using the link provided or contact your technician.. Service can not be done earlier than 2000 km before the interval and not later than 1250 km after. An authorized Volvo workshop must be used for service, repair and maintenance of your car. The car has a safety agreement with us at Volvo Bil i Göteborg AB. If the car has been exposed to abnormal wear and tear, you may have to pay the cost. You are asked to repair the damage / wear that the car has during the entire contract period.
Service must be done according to the car's interval:
- Car with 12 months/30000 km intervals (see service book)
Absolutely at the latest: 12 months + 30 days or 31250 km before first service or between service occasions, whichever occurs first.
- Car with 24 months/30000 km intervals (see service book)
Absolutely at the latest: 24 months + 30 days or 31250 km to first service or between service occasions, whichever occurs first.

Read the guidelines regarding the condition of the car when returning. You are personally responsible for payment for missing equipment belonging to the car, for example. keys, service book, winter tyres, divisible towbar, privacy screen, charging cable etc.
When it's time to inspect your corporate car, you will receive a requisition sent to your email or to your postal address. Bring this requisition at the time of inspection and give to the staff on site. Inspection is relevant for you who drive a Re-Lease car or a new car for a longer period. A new car must be inspected for the first time no later than 36 months after the month it was put into use.
